MSM n. Abbreviation for “mainstream media”, often these days (in Left Blogistan) defined as spanning the measly ideological distance between The New Republic and National Review, but (in my mind) the sort of corporate-friendly and canting writing you would find anywhere in the “big three” (US) dailies of the Times, Post, and Journal.
